Painting “Whituś”
“Whituś” (2023) is a work by Aneta and Filip Gębski, created in their original MIRAGES technique. It is the first piece that inspired a whole series dedicated to fauna and flora.
Technique
The creative process begins with a pigment print on archival paper. The artists then add pencil drawing with a 0.1 mm 2B pencil, without using an eraser to preserve the paper’s delicate structure.
Inspiration & Exhibitions
The artwork merges photography and drawing, creating a three-dimensional depth effect. “Whituś” was showcased at the 28th International Poster Biennale, organized by the Station of Art Gallery Foundation.
