Painting “Owl II”
“Owl II” is a large-format acrylic painting on canvas (160×180 cm). The titular owl embodies the series’ core idea: opposing qualities coexisting within one image.
Form and symbolism
A distinct yet irregular golden line divides the figure into two halves. The left side is more realistic and detailed (with a single golden eye), while the right becomes expressive and suggestive—inviting contemplation on what is revealed versus concealed.
