Dorota Kiermasz
Dorota Kiermasz – painter and graphic artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She creates “real abstraction,” combining painting with printmaking and digital graphics. Participant of numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
Dorota Kiermasz – geometric abstraction and conceptual art
Dorota Kiermasz was born in Katowice, Poland. She studied woodcarving at the Art School in Katowice and later graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where she worked in the Painting Studio of Prof. Ryszard Hunger and the Intaglio Printmaking Studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wawrzyniak. She also completed postgraduate studies in computer graphics at the University of Łódź.
The artist focuses mainly on abstract painting, which she calls “real abstraction”. She also creates printmaking and applied graphics. For ten years, she directed Grand Galerie 7.15 in Łódź, presenting contemporary artists. Her works are distinguished by precision of form, geometry and bold use of color, merging traditional techniques with contemporary approaches.
