Tadeusz Czarnecki

Tadeusz Czarnecki (b. 1960, Końskie, Poland) – painter, graphic artist, photographer, educator and cultural animator. He has exhibited in Poland and abroad and runs his own BIŁASÓWKA Art Gallery in Radoszyce. Author of several photographic albums and publications on art.

Tadeusz Czarnecki is an interdisciplinary artist, combining painting (oil, ecoline), drawing, graphic arts and photography. Since June 2011, he has been running his own BIŁASÓWKA Art Gallery in Radoszyce.

Biography and education

• Born December 12, 1960, Końskie
• Graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (1987)
• Teachers: Prof. Marian Stelmasik (painting), Prof. Zdzisław Niedźwiedź (graphic arts)
• Doctoral studies at University of Opole (1999–2003), PhD in Humanities (2007)
• Doctoral thesis: Contemporary Folk Sculpture of the Kielce Region as a Source of Knowledge in Regional Education
• Member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (2000–2010)
• Educator, collector, cultural animator
