“ACT 2026, From the Madonnas Series, PART OF LIGHT NO.1” by Malina Wieczorek is a subtle yet deeply intense painting in which the female body is reduced to trace, vibration, and presence—felt more than explicitly shown. Against a faded ochre ground and the visible linen texture of the canvas, a barely outlined female torso emerges through delicate contour and almost dissolving form. This is not a conventional nude, but an image of corporeality understood as a space of life, memory, and origin.
The most significant elements of the composition are the dark, tangled clusters placed in charged areas of the body: near the breasts and in the lower abdomen. They do not function as decoration or ornament. Instead, they become signs of what is primal—birth, nourishment, care, creation, and continuity. In this vision, the female body is not treated as anatomy in a literal sense, but as a kind of cosmic centre: a place where the individual meets the universal, and intimacy takes on an almost metaphysical dimension.
