Igor Chołda, also known as Aqualoopa, is an illustrator, animator, painter and musician. He works daily on character animations for video games, seamlessly moving between digital and traditional media.
Biography and education
Graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw, the Łódź Film School and the Institute of Process Psychology. He created murals in Warsaw, including at Żelazna and Solidarności Avenue and at the corner of Targowa and Ząbkowska Streets. Member of the Polish Digital Graphics Group. He also performs with the band Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra.
Style and work
Chołda paints canvases, murals, illustrations and designs for products and clothing. His art draws on cartoons, graffiti and comics – with bold outlines, vibrant colors and dynamic compositions. Inspired by nature and calligraphy, he experiments with form, perspective and geometry to create multi-layered narratives commenting on art and popular culture.
