Bożena Knecht – About the Artist
Bożena Knecht is an interdisciplinary artist whose work spans painting and photography. Her artistic practice explores the themes of the body, emotions, and female experience, often enriched with Japanese motifs. Her projects create a space for dialogue and reflection, addressing freedom, sensitivity, and identity.
Biography
Since 2001, she has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland, Switzerland, Norway, and Germany. Knecht regularly takes part in visual arts festivals such as Photo Fringe and Cracow Art Week KRAKERS. She is also the author of the project body, dedicated to the subject of corporeality in art.

Artistic Work
Knecht often collaborates with other artists, creating interdisciplinary projects and exhibitions. Her practice includes artistic and social projects, such as Paloma (Kraków, 2023). She also writes texts and curatorial essays, focusing on themes of femininity, corporeality, and sensitivity.
