About the Artist – Anna Rendecka
Anna Rendecka is an art historian and graphic artist, a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her practice spans abstraction and expressionism through printmaking, drawing and photography.
Themes & Visual Language
In recent years she has explored transience, memory and dementia. Her MA thesis “Fading” (2022, Conceptual & Intermedia Printmaking Studio, Prof. A. Węcławski) examined the erosion of identity in neurocognitive diseases. Her drawings and nudes are expressive, line-driven compositions where light reveals emotion.
Process & Technique
Drawing is a form of meditation—immersive focus and calm. Rendecka often hybridizes techniques and tools, searching for innovative formal solutions.
