Aneta & Filip Gębscy – MIRAGES: photography + drawing
Aneta and Filip Gębscy have collaborated for eight years, merging fine-art photography (Aneta) with hand drawing (Filip). Their proprietary technique MIRAGES is a multi-stage process: a pigment print on dedicated B/W paper (soft greys to deep blacks) becomes the base for precise graphite lines (9B or macro 2B 0.1 mm). No eraser is used—every line “seeks light” and reframes the image.
Concept & aesthetics
MIRAGES explores light, detail and the poetics of the imperfect, revealing illusions and metaphors hidden in objects and humans. The duo embraces chance—splashes, smudges—carefully balanced with intention and precision.
