Maxim Haverts (Maxim Sivakov) is a Belarusian contemporary artist born in 1998 in Zhodino, currently living and working in Warsaw.
He began his artistic journey at the age of 14 through graffiti and street art. Over time, he developed his own visual language, combining the experience of urban art with contemporary painting, calligraphy, abstraction, collage and figurative elements.
Haverts does not limit himself to a single technique. Experimentation, the combination of different forms of expression and the dialogue between the spontaneity of street art and more deliberate painterly composition are important elements of his creative process.
At the centre of Maxim Haverts' work are emotions, personal experiences and inner human states. He often expresses them through words, abstract forms, symbols, expressive gestures and figurative elements. His artworks function as highly personal records of thoughts, tensions and emotions, with artistic honesty remaining one of the key principles of his practice.
His works have been presented at venues and events including the National Centre for Contemporary Arts in Minsk, Art-Minsk at the Palace of Art and the National Library of Belarus, the Autumn Salon and the “Colorful Days” exhibition at Kuvik Gallery in Berlin.
Maxim Haverts' artworks can also be found in private collections in Warsaw, New York, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Vilnius and Minsk.
