Maja Żurawiecka – poster, illustration & editorial design
Maja Żurawiecka (b. 1989, Warsaw) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She earned a rector’s-distinction diploma (2016) in Prof. Lech Majewski’s Poster & Editorial Studio, with a painting annex under Prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak. Doctoral studies: 2016–2020. Since 2021 she has run her own studio (previously co-founded Rakiety Studio); since 2023 she has taught at Społeczna Akademia Nauk in Warsaw.
Focus & collaborations
She designs posters, illustrations and publications. Collaborations include: Polish National Opera, Salon Akademii Gallery, Institute of Opera, Collegium Nobilium Theatre, Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Public & Cultural Diplomacy) and the Permanent Representation of Poland to NATO.
