Łukasz Lucjan Jankiewicz (b. 1975, Jawor) lives and works in Wrocław. A painter, designer and interior architect, he embraces risk and experimentation: mixed techniques, large formats and an ongoing exploration of colour kinetics as non-verbal communication.

Style & themes

Jankiewicz focuses on emotional portraiture and the human condition. Layered structures, tactile impasto-like textures and a wide chromatic range create intense, visceral responses. He continually searches for new tools and methods.

Influences

From the chromatic sensitivity and process-driven approach of Gerhard Richter to early inspiration from Vincent van Gogh; colour, light and motion remain central.
