Karolina Sosnowska – figurative and socially engaged art

Karolina Sosnowska (b. 1983, Rzeszów) is a visual artist and graphic designer based in Warsaw. Her artistic practice addresses social issues through diverse techniques, including hand drawing, spray paint, stencils and digital media.

Biography and education

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2007, project “Negatives” supervised by Prof. Lech Majewski). In 2014, she completed her PhD at the same institution. Co-founder of Studio UL, she works professionally in visual identity, publishing design, posters and exhibitions.

Style and direction

Sosnowska’s work combines young art and figuratism. Her projects are diverse in form and deeply emotional, turning art into a tool of communication and change.
